What does HVLS mean?

HVLS stands for High Volume, Low Speed. It is a general product category—not a brand. Large-diameter blades rotate relatively slowly to move a broad volume of air through a large space.

HVLS is not air conditioning.

It circulates and mixes air. Comfort and operational outcomes depend on the building, climate, layout and fan placement.
